Ria's Rainbow has been set up in aid of Ria Lucy Stonehouse who was born 13 weeks
early weighing 2 lb 5½ oz. She has Diplegia Type Cerebral Palsy, which means her
legs don’t work properly and has to walk with a K-
Family & friends have set up Ria’s Rainbow to raise funds to send her to America for an operation, for which she has now been accepted, to help her walk unaided and lead a normal life as possible.

We’ve amazingly reached our target of £50,000.
Huge respect to all the runners, walkers, skydivers, footballers, boxers, cyclists, golfers, mountaineers, swimmers, gamblers, disco dancers, dieters and coffee makers. To all those who gave up their time to help raise funds by holding collection boxes, making jewelry to sell, having dress downs in work, holding raffles, selling kisses, releasing balloons, organising parties and many more fantastic ways of raising money. To all the local businesses, friends and strangers for the kind donations of prizes for the raffles and auctions.
Even though our target has been reached there are still people raising money, whatever is raised from these events will go towards paying for equipment and continuing physiotherapy Ria will need for at least a further 12mths when she arrives back from America
We would like to say to those who donated money and Prizes, sponsored people taking part in the events and family and friends whose efforts have made this happen....
THANK YOU
NEWS UPDATE..... Ria is currently in America and following two successful operations, has now started the physiotherapy.
